Research Assistant(Intern) Positions Available in Cybersecurity/AI/Data Analytics

Description: The Security Science Lab-Director Dr. Jake Cho, a dynamic and innovative research group at Lewis University, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Assistant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for students who are passionate about computer science and cybersecurity and are considering a future Ph.D. program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of complex research tasks.
- Write and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code or C code.
- Conduct literature reviews, summarize findings, and assist in drafting research papers.
- Collaborate with team members on various research initiatives.
- Weekly updates (1 - 3 times per week via the virtual lab platorm)
Qualifications:
- Current 1st or 2nd-semester student in Computer Science or related field.
(Or, Undergraduate students who want to join the graduate program at Lewis) - Strong academic record with a high GPA in undergraduate studies.
- Advanced skills in programming.
- Proficient in Linux/HPC and comfortable with CLI.
- Demonstrated interest in pursuing a Ph.D. in the future.
